If Mr. Rossin's Brainerd High School A Cappella Choir can raise $65,000 the choir will go to Europe. The choir will leave for Europe May 29 to perform at the prestigious Boston Festival in Boston, England.

The $500,000 credit drive for St. Joseph's Hospital has ended successfully even though it faced an almost impossible time factor. A half-million dollars in credit has been pledged to the hospital expansion program although the campaign lasted only two weeks.

Mrs. Ted Nesheim, 815 South Seventh Street, has returned home from a visit with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. E.H. Paine and family in Watertown, S.D.

Beautification of 3.3 miles of Highway 210 and 371 within the city limits of Brainerd and construction of a 5 foot bicycle path from Lum Park to 4th Avenue N.E. will begin early this spring.

The work on the construction of the new water supply system for the city of Brainerd is progressing satisfactorily. Those improvements include the abandonment of the Mississippi River as a source of water supply.

Assistant Dairy Commissioner B.D. Bird was in the city and visited all the grocery stores of the city for the purpose of finding out if any Oleo margarine was being sold here contrary to the Minnesota Law, which prohibits its sale absolutely.
