Wadena-Deer Creek's kindergarten roundup planned

WADENA - Wadena-Deer Creek's kindergarten roundup will begin with a free meal at 6 p.m. April 5 in the cafeteria followed by a program at 6:30 p.m. in Wadena Memorial Auditorium.

Kindergarten roundup offers upcoming kindergarten students and their parents the opportunity to meet teachers, the school nurse and principal while completing the enrollment process. Those who need to can bring the whole family as child care will be available at no cost.

RSVP by calling WDC Elementary office at (218) 632-2400 for those planning to attend.

Pre-registration packets will be sent the week of March 22 to families who have children turning age 5 by Sept. 1, 2010. If you do not receive a pre-registration packet, contact Alice Carr at WDC Elementary office.

Wadena-Deer Creek offers all-day, everyday kindergarten. Parents may also enroll their child in Kid's Club, which provides child care before and after school from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
