Illusionist Andre Kole will perform at 7 p.m. March 28 at Tornstrom Auditorium, Washington Educational Services Building, in Brainerd.

Aitkin High School to stage 'High School Musical'

AITKIN - The Aitkin High School Concert Choir, under the direction of Kelly Blake, will perform Disney's "High School Musical" April 1-5 in the AHS auditorium.

Music is adapted and arranged by Bryan Louiselle. Dances will be choreographed by Ben Bakken and sets will be designed by Loren Vonasek.

"High School Musical" tells the story of Troy Bolton, East High's star basketball player, and Gabriella Montez, a shy math whiz, who meet at a karaoke party over Christmas break.

They hit it off and try out for their school's winter musicale, but with one problem: Troy and Gabriella's friendship sends the rigid social structures of East High into complete disarray, and some will stop at nothing to make sure everyone "sticks to the status quo."
