A gathering of long ago time Nisswa residents is set for Sunday, March 25. A dinner is planned to honor the notable and historic figures in the Nisswa area. The dinner is the first pre-centennial activity planned for the Nisswa Centennial.

A Brainerd man attending the University of Minnesota at Duluth was one of 150 students achieving a "straight A" average during fall quarter. Bradley D. Gardner received a 4.0 grade point average at the University.

Brainerd basketball fans are Moorhead-bound this afternoon and will be on hand by the hundreds tonight to watch their Warriors clash with Moorhead in the first round of Region 6 tourney play.
