Citizens in Brainerd were made more aware of Boy Scout month in February when they viewed the Scout displays in windows of several downtown business establishments. The Brainerd Jaycees were instrumental in organizing the project.

Two dynamite explosions in a boiler in Northern Pacific power plant in the Brainerd shops, were revealed today. Railroad representatives said that one-half stick of dynamite and a dynamite cap with wire attached, had been found in coal arriving at the shops.

The general committee on the fiftieth anniversary Celebration of Brainerd had a very enthusiastic meeting last night. The question arose as to the place of holding the celebration. Lum Park would be the principal place of entertainment.
