Gail L. (Busbey) Hodgson, 42, formerly of Brainerd, was suddenly called to be with the Lord from her home in Holdingford, Minn., on Tuesday, March 8, 2005. She was born April 2, 1962, in Brainerd, Minn., to Curtis and Sonia (Nelson) Busbey.
Gail was a longtime employee of Bankers Systems of St. Cloud. She loved to ski and travel to Europe. Her favorite place to travel was England where she met her beloved husband, Ian. She also volunteered as a counselor at the Pregnancy Resource Center in St. Cloud.
She is survived by her adoring husband, Ian, and their "kids," Cleo and Duke (their Boxers); her parents, Curtis and Sonia Busbey; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Billy and Mary Hodgson, of Alnwick, England; her siblings, RoxAnne (Greg) Mitchell, their children, Christopher and Graham; Deanne (Jeff) LeBlanc, and their children, Michael, Kimberly (Brian) Birman, Nicole and Joey; Doug (Doretta) Busbey, and their children, Tyler and Dustin; Annette (Ryan) Van Roekel; and Brad (Jill) Busbey; and Ian's family, Darren, Carrol, and their children, Jodine and Tyson.
Services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2005, at 2 p.m. at the South Long Lake Presbyterian Church with Pastor Bob Kemper officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
Memorials are preferred to the Pregnancy Resource Center in St. Cloud on Gail's behalf.
