Senior dances
MOTLEY -- There will be a senior dance at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Motley 10-High with music by the Hornets.

Ray's Promenaders
Ray's Promenaders will square dance from 8-10 p.m. Friday at Baxter Elementary School with Jim Jirak calling. Gail and Gary will host the potluck lunch for "wear green night." All area dancers welcome.
Legion dinner
The Brainerd American Legion will serve BBQ beef ribs, au gratin potatoes, roll and salad from 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday. Cost: $6. It is a fund raiser for the Color Guard. Call-in orders are available at 829-2249.

Sons of Norway will meet Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church for a birthday potluck supper at 6 p.m. and the program at 7 p.m. Chef Billie "Well Dressed" Ray will demonstrate up north cooking.

Rose luncheon
The Staples '93 Lions will host a rose luncheon featuring Rose Edin, who will speak and demonstrate painting, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Fellowship Hall in Staples. There will be a lunch consisting of salads, desserts, punch and coffee, a silent auction and musical entertainment. Tickets are $6 and available from Staples '93 Lions members, First Integrity Bank, Mid-Central Federal Savings, Perry's Ben Franklin or Miller True Value in Staples, or at the door.

The quarterly meeting of the Crow Wing County Genealogical Society will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the LDS Family History Center located in the Mormon Church, 101 Buffalo Hills Lane, in Brainerd. Immunization Clinics
Public immunization clinics are given through Crow Wing County Health Department. There is a minimal charge for vaccines but no one will be denied if unable to pay. A parent or guardian with an immunization record must accompany each child under age 18. The Brainerd schedule is from 8:15 a.m.-4:15 p.m. Tuesday and March 28 at Crow Wing County Health Department, 219 Laurel St., Brainerd.
