Winter storm waring and winter weather advisory in effect for north and northwest portions tuesday afternoon through wednesday morning...

Wind advisory for northern two thirds for tuesday evening through wednesday morning...

Today...Fog lingering early in the southeast. Snow...Heavy at times far northwest. Rain showers likely with a chance of thunderstorms central and south. Highs from around 30 northwest...To the mid 50s far south.

Tuesday night...Chance of rain south and east...Rain and snow likely central portions. Snow likely north with blowing snow northwest. Becoming windy. Lows from single digits above zero north...To near 20 southeast.

Wednesday...Windy in the morning. Decreasing clouds. Chance of snow showers north. Highs from the lower teens northwest...To the low 30s far southeast.

Thursday...Mostly clear south and central...Partly cloudy north. Lows from around 15 below northwest...To the lower teens far southeast. Highs in the middle teens north to the upper 20s south.

Friday... Mostly clear. Lows from the single digits below zero north...To the mid teens south. Highs from the upper 20s north...To near 40 south.

Saturday...Mostly clear. Lows from the low teens north to mid 20s south. Highs in the low 30s northwest...Mid 40s central...And near 50 far south.
