FIFTY LAKES -- Richard "Dick" K. Odland, 69, Fifty Lakes, formerly of Prior Lake, died Friday, March 7, 2003, at home.
He was born April 4, 1933, in Minneapolis to Wendell and Grace (Kyes) Odland. He attended Washburn High School. He married Donna LaDue on Oct. 10, 1992, in Lake Tahoe, Nev. He owned and operated American Lighting Co., in Minneapolis from 1966 until his retirement in 1993. He served in the Navy Reserves from 1950-1952. They moved to Fifty Lakes in 1995. He was a member of the Richfield American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Donna; two daughters, Linda Clancy, Tucson, Ariz., and Christine Nelson, Savage; two sons, William Odland, Minneapolis, and Martin Odland, Hayward, Wis.; two stepsons, Sean Clifford, Augusta, Ga., and Kyle Clifford, Arlington, Va.; and a stepgrandchild.
His parents died earlier.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake with the Rev. John Twiton officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily. Memorials are preferred to the donor's favorite charity.
Friends may call an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
