The Brainerd Family YMCA will offer an American Heart CPR and Basic First Aid classes.
The CPR class will meet 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. This course will include CPR for infants, children and adults.
The first aid course will be offered 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
Both classes will be held at the YMCA. Participants will receive certification upon completion. Cost is $40 for YMCA members and $45 for community members for each class. Class size is limited. Classes must be paid for at the time of registration.

Identity theft presentation to be held in Nisswa
NISSWA -- Sue Mortenson, vice president and director of human resources and training at Lakewood Bank, will present a session on identity theft from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. March 20 in the Nisswa Elementary School Community Room.
Identity theft is the No. 1 consumer fraud in the nation. Participants will learn how to minimize their chances of becoming a victim. Mortenson will provide participants with an anti-theft checklist, as well as what to do if they suspect they have become victims of identity theft.

Brainerd EDA to meet Thursday
The Brainerd Economic Development Authority will meet at 8 a.m. Thursday at Brainerd City Hall.
Crow Wing County committees to meet
The Crow Wing County Housing and Redevelopment Authority will meet 5:30 p.m. today at Pequot Lakes City Hall.
The county Planning Commission will meet 5 p.m. Thursday in the Elks Club Building in Brainerd.
