Crosslake committee meeting planned March 17

CROSSLAKE - The Crosslake Subdivision Advisory Committee to the Planning and Zoning Commission/Board of Zoning Adjustment will meet at 8:30 a.m. March 17 in the city council chambers at the Crosslake City Hall.

The purpose of the meeting will be to review and discuss possible amendments to Chapter 3, Subdivision Regulations of the Crosslake City Code, related to park dedication and the subdivision process. The public is welcome to attend.

The meeting may include a quorum of three or more members of the Crosslake City Council, Planning and Zoning Commission, and/or the Park and Recreation Commission to observe and participate in the proceedings. There will be no agenda nor any official actions taken by the council, Planning and Zoning Commission or Park and Recreation Commission members.

Korean War veterans plan to tour Washington, D.C.

The Minnesota Korean War Veterans Association is inviting Korean War veterans to tour Washington, D.C., to mark the 60th anniversary of the Korean War on Oct. 19-26.

Participants have the option to travel by plane or motorcoach. Tour plans include meals, entertainment and sightseeing, such as the Smithsonian, the Capitol and the White House.
