THEFTS - Joel Abenth on Sunday reported the theft of a laptop, computer bag and external hard drive from First Lutheran Church, 424 S. Eighth St.
Cynthia Hanson, 500 block of North Eighth Street, Saturday reported the theft of a music player from her vehicle.
ARRESTS - At 10:57 p.m. on Saturday officers located a 24-year-old man in violation of his probation inside the Blue Ox Bar, 608 Laurel St. The man resisted arrest and fled on foot for about four blocks before being apprehended. He was arrested on the probation violation, obstructing the legal process and fleeing on foot.
Received a request at 9:47 p.m. on Saturday from the St. Cloud Police Department to attempt a felony warrant service on a 33-year-old man. The man was located on the 600 block of Southwest Sixth Street and resisted arrest. Along with being arrested on the warrant he was charged with obstructing the legal process.
Made contact with a 27-year-old man at 10:02 p.m. Friday in the alley off the 700 block of Laurel Street and arrested him for indecent conduct, fleeing police, probation violation and fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance.

BURGLARY - Received a report of a burglary alarm at 2:21 a.m. Sunday at the Woodtick Inn, 24000 Minnesota Ave. in Cuyuna. A Crosby officer responded and found the front door glass broken. A Baxter Police K9 officer assisted. No suspects were located.
THEFT - Jami Miller, 10000 block of Cross Avenue, Saturday reported the theft of a four-wheeler and a Gator.
PROPERTY DAMAGE - Susan Gordon, 10000 block of River Road, Saturday reported her mailbox damaged.
SHOOTING COMPLAINT - Deputies were called at 1:38 p.m. on Friday by a man on the 10000 block of Lougee Lake Road who found a bullet hole in his garage door. After further investigation deputies found that the damage was that of a woodpecker. The woodpecker was gone on arrival.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Brook Howard on Friday reported her vehicle had been vandalized while parked on the 10000 block of Edgewood Drive.
CRASH - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 3:07 p.m. on Friday at Highways 210 and 371.
Staples police
SUSPICIOUS PERSON - At 1:35 a.m. on Saturday police received a report of a man beating on the door of a house on the 300 block of Fourth Street Southeast. The resident there did not know the man and called 911. Officers arrived and found a 21-year-old man who was extremely intoxicated and had a large puncture wound on his side. He was attempting to get to his friend's house and was so drunk he did not realize he was at the wrong house. He was taken to Lakewood Health System emergency room and treated for his injuries. He reported that the wound was from falling down on his way home from the bar.
PROPERTY DAMAGE - Bonnie Bristow on Friday reported her vehicle was vandalized while parked on the 400 block of Centennial Drive.
BURGLARY - Trista Durose, 1000 block of Third Street Northeast, on Friday reported her residence broken into. Nothing was missing.
