So far, over $160 billion down a rathole. That seems to be OK with most Americans providing, of course, that their sons, daughters and brothers are not in uniform. Oh, the shame and the horror of it. Ask questions before voting

Perhaps you as a participant in township election may not take time to consider the immense powers that are bestowed upon township board members. It is amazing the legal problems and financial strain that can be created or averted by the common sense of those elected to these positions. Take the time and ask a few questions about the names on the ballot before you vote. Just because there may only be one name on the ballot doesn't mean you have to check it. Write in your name or a township member who you can trust.
