They happen to be a bunch of whiny brats who don't understand the word "no." How can they still be referred to as being a peace group? They have caused a lot of people concern over being sued, lawyers fees and taking the city officials away from much more important work. Peace group, lay off or change your name. The veterans and American flags lead a parade on the Fourth of July and is celebrated as a national holiday in honor of Independence Day from England. We had a Revolutionary War. Remember your social studies from school?
Like war? Vote for Bush
Three hundred and nine days and still no weapons of mass destruction found. American troops killed: about 550. Conservative estimates of the number of Iraqis killed: 10,000. So far, over $160 billion down a rathole. That seems to be OK with most Americans providing, of course, that their sons, daughters and brothers are not in uniform. Oh, the shame and the horror of it. You like war, you say, then vote for George W. Bush.
Ask questions before voting
Perhaps you as a participant in township election may not take time to consider the immense powers that are bestowed upon township board members. It is amazing the legal problems and financial strain that can be created or averted by the common sense of those elected to these positions. Take the time and ask a few questions about the names on the ballot before you vote. Just because there may only be one name on the ballot doesn't mean you have to check it. Write in your name or a township member who you can trust.
