Robert Edward Johnson

FERGUS FALLS -- Robert Edward Johnson, 73, Fergus Falls, died Friday, March 8, 2002, at the Minnesota Veteran's Home in Fergus Falls.

He was born March 8, 1929, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Francis and Frieda (Behrens) Johnson. He entered the Army in 1950 and served in the Korean War. He later attended DeVry College in Chicago. He married Wanda Almelien in May 1961 in Nashua, Iowa. He worked in Chicago, Des Moines and Minneapolis before moving to the Brainerd area in 1975.

A brother and an infant sister died earlier.

Survivors include his wife, Brainerd; a daughter, Lisa Jacobson, Merrifield; a son, Christopher Johnson, Brainerd; four grandchildren; and a brother, James Johnson, Paola, Kan.

Services will be at a later date with burial to be in the Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.
