Brainerd Public Utilities customers will experience power outages, lasting about an hour, for maintenance work.

* 9 a.m. Wednesday, from Quince Street south to Willow Street and from the Spur Line Bike Trail east to Southeast 14th Street.

* 11 a.m. Thursday, Maple Street south to Quince Street and from South Ninth Street east to the Spur Line Bike Trail.

* 1 p.m. Friday, the south side of Oak Street to the north side of Quince Street and from the Spur Line Bike Trail east to, but not including, Southeast 28th Street. Beech Street is included up to the mobile home park.

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a false alarm at The Body Works in Baxter about 10:22 p.m. Sunday.
