Kindergarten forms available in Pequot

PEQUOT LAKES -- Registration forms have been sent to families who have children entering kindergarten this fall in the Pequot Lakes School District.
Families who did not receive a form may request one at the elementary school office at (218) 568-9206. Children eligible for kindergarten this fall must be 5 by Sept. 1.
League of Women Voters to meet
The League of Women Voters of the Brainerd Lakes Area will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Sawmill Inn.
Don Wedl, long-range planner of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, will be the guest speaker. Wedl will discuss how the Mille Lacs Band got to where it is today from noon to 1 p.m. Lunch will be held before the discussion.
