Gary R. Shake

MOTLEY -- Gary R. Shake, age 62, of Motley, died Friday evening, March 4, 2005, at his home.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in Swan Valley Lutheran Church in Leader. Burial will be in the Swan Valley Cemetery. Relatives will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples.

Gary was born on Oct. 16, 1942, in Minneapolis to Woodrow and Shirley Margorie (Bacon) Shake. He graduated with the Staples High School class of 1960 and then spent more than 30 years working for defense contractors in the Twin Cities. Gary is survived by his mother; siblings, Betty Lorber of Motley, Steve Shake of Motley, Jo Pollock of Pillager, Emily Tholl of Motley, Sherry Jacobs of Staples, Denise Bickford of Motley and Larry Shake of Motley; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services have been entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples.
