The Staples-Motley youth basketball program will conduct a 2-ball competition for boys and girls, ages 8-11, beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday at Staples-Motley High School.
This unique skills game is played with two-player teams. Each team has one minute to score as many baskets as possible, from any of the designated shooting spots on the court. Each shooting spot is worth a different point value, based on the difficulty of the shot. At the end of the competition, the winner in each category with the highest score advances to the next level of play.
Players must be at least 8 years old and no more than 11 on Jan. 1, 2001. Anyone with questions may contact Craig Wolhowe at (218) 894-1085 or Kevin Roline at (218) 894-3601.
