Crow Wing County township elections set for Tuesday
Crow Wing County township elections will be Tuesday with supervisor and treasurer positions up for vote in most townships.
Supervisor terms will be three years and treasurer terms will be two years.
In several townships no one had filed for the position, leaving write-in candidates up for the position. Usually, said Kris Schubert, Daggett Brook Township clerk, the write-in candidate winner is the person who filled the previous term.
The elections will be held in township town halls.
Here is a list of candidates and polling hours for the townships. Information on the elections in Fort Ripley and Ross Lake Townships was not available as calls to the clerks of those townships were not returned.
Bay Lake
Supervisor: Meredith Poland, incumbent.
Treasurer: Keith DeChaine, incumbent.
Poll hours: 2-8 p.m. with township annual meeting at 8:30 p.m.
Center
Supervisor: Terrance Ebinger, incumbent.
