ST. PETER, (AP) -- Work is starting this week on a $5.4 million international student center at Gustavus Adolphus College.
School officials say the center will be a centralized site for multicultural living and learning.
''We're trying to make a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts,'' said Hank Toutain, dean of students.
The center will combine the Office of International Education, which works with students who want to study abroad and students who come to Gustavus from abroad.
