Cass Lake shooting victim, suspect ID'd

The Cass County Sheriff's Department Friday identified the victim and suspect of Thursday's shooting near Tract 34 in the Cass Lake area.
The victim is Amos Ervin Laduke, 31, Cass Lake. Laduke was transported to SMDC Medical Center in Duluth. No information about Laduke's condition was available from the hospital.
The suspect is William Earl Morris, 22, Cass Lake. Morris is currently being held in the Cass County Jail pending formal charges.
The shooting occurred at 3:34 p.m. Thursday.
