Tucson, Ariz. -- Brainerd High School graduate Todd Revenig pitched the seventh and eighth innings in the Arizona Diamondbacks' 10-9 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers in Cactus League baseball Monday.
Revenig has pitched four innings for Arizona this spring and has picked up a save.

Walleye meeting to feature Wentworth
Jim Wentworth will be the speaker when the Brainerd chapter of the Minnesota Walleye Alliance meets 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Brainerd Elks Lodge.
Wentworth owns Fish-Lectronics, a boat-rigging business. He repairs electric trolling motors and sonar units and has been featured in In-Fisherman magazine. He will answer questions about rigging a fishing boat and fishing electronics.
Monthly meetings of the Brainerd Walleye Alliance take place the first Wednesday of each month and are open to the public.
John places sixth, 12th in races
FARGO, N.D. -- Crosslake's Trevor John raced his Polaris to a sixth-place finish in the Pro Open final and 12th place in the Pro Stock final at the inaugural Yamaha Fargo Snocross at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds last weekend.
The event was the 10th round in the 11-round World Snowmobile Association Snocross Worldwide Championship Series.
In qualifying rounds, John placed first, third and third in the Pro Open class and third, fourth and fifth in the Pro Stock class. Tucker Hibbert, on an Arctic Cat, won both finals.
Levi LaVallee of Longville, on a Polaris, finished sixth and seventh in the Semi-Pro Stock and Semi-Pro Open finals, respectively. Brett Abrahamson of Brainerd, on an Arctic Cat, placed fourth in both the Junior 14-15 and Sport Fan finals.
LaVallee, Goble advance
Levi LaVallee of Longville and Josh Goble of Baxter advanced in their respective classes seasons points standings in the World Snowmobile Association Snocross Worldwide Championship Series after the 10th round of the series Fargo last weekend at Fargo, N.D.
LaVallee, aboard a Polaris, moved from eighth to fourth place in Semi-Pro Stock. Goble on an Arctic Cat advanced from 10th to eighth in the same class.
Crosslake's Trevor John, aboard a Polaris, remained in fifth place in the Pro Open class.
Two Pioneer girls on subsection team
Shiela Stegora and Missy Girtz of Pierz have been named to the All-Sub-Section 18, Section 6AA girls' basketball team.

Nelson scores 23 in BSU finale
Brainerd High School graduate Chad Nelson scored 23 points as the Bemidji State University men's basketball team ended its season with a 73-67 loss to Wayne State in the first round of the NSIC tournament Feb. 27.
The Beavers finished 7-12 in conference play, 10-17 overall.
