Albert D. Starr

FORT RIPLEY TOWNSHIP -- Albert David Starr, 68, Fort Ripley Township, died Friday, March 3, 2000, at Hennepin County Medical Center of Minneapolis.

He was born Feb. 21, 1932, in Morrison County to Ben Starr and Minna (Briese) Starr-Kloek. He attended school in District 115. After his schooling, he worked with his parents on the family farm and helped other farmers in the area. He later worked for Northern Pumps in Minneapolis.

Survivors include his mother, of Brainerd; and two sisters, Lilly Johnson, St. Cloud, and Betty Gombus, Columbia Heights.

His father, two brothers, Jerome and Arnold Starr, and a sister, Elinor Koscielniak, died earlier.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Oakland Cemetery of Little Falls.
