Accident

Brainerd police Saturday responded to a vehicle-pedestrian accident at Washington and North Sixth streets.

The pedestrian, David Allenbaugh, 36, Brainerd, was crossing Washington Street from south to north against the "Don't Walk" sign when he was hit by the westbound vehicle of Anna Matakis, 29, Brainerd.

Allenbaugh was transported by North Ambulance to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. No information on his condition was available from the Brainerd hospital.
