DETROIT LAKES - Harriet E. Peterson, age 92, of Detroit Lakes, Minn., and formerly of Valley City, N.D., died Monday, March 2, 2009, in The Emmanuel Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2009, in Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Valley City with the Rev. Randy Schlecht officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery near Valley City in the spring.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Wednesday in The Lerud-Johnson-Schuldt Funeral Home in Valley City and one hour before services in the church Thursday morning.
Local survivor is a daughter, Sharon (Gary) Syvertson, Brainerd, Minn.
