Wadena-Deer Creek's Terry Olson was inducted into the Minnesota Gymnastics Coaches Hall of Fame at the State Gymnastics banquet.

Olson, who has coached for 15 years, has had three state qualifying teams, four Mid-State Conference championship teams, 12 state meet individuals and 13 all-conference individuals. Olson's teams have also earned three state academic titles and seven section academic titles.

He was the Coaches Association section representative for five years and on the advisory committee for two years.

Three days of open gym and swim

There are only three more sessions of Sunday open gym and swimming at Brainerd High School. The days are March 7, 14 and 21.
