Robert M. Johnson

MOOSE LAKE -- Robert Matthew Johnson, 58, Moose Lake, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, at home.

He was born Feb. 1, 1944, in St. Paul to A. Dennis and Marie Johnson. He married Patricia Ryan on June 19, 1964. They moved to Brook Park in 1969 where he lived until 1993. He married Lovonne Forness on Jan. 19, 1993. He made a career out of refurbishing homes and resorts.

Survivors include his wife, Moose Lake; two sons, Robert Johnson, Illinois, and Darrin Johnson, Port Edwards, Wis.; two stepsons, Samuel Forness, Plymouth, and Benjamin Forness, Maple Plain; a stepdaughter, Angela Forness Schafer, Rush City; six grandchildren; and three brothers, Daryl Johnson, Daggett, Mich., Don Johnson, Aitkin, and Gene Johnson, Lonestar, Texas.

His first wife, Patricia, and his parents, died earlier.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Lutheran Church in Mora with the Rev. Harvey Johnson and the Rev. Stephen Blenkush officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Mora.
