"Going to the Chapel"

The Brainerd Christian Women's Club will sponsor a lunch and program called "Going to the Chapel" from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Waterfall Inn. Cost: $6.50 each inclusive. There will be a bridal fashion show called "Wedding March," "Bells are Ringing" by Glen Thesing, Brainerd, and "Bouquets of Wisdom" by Huldy Sannes, Frazee. Gun Safety Training

Gun Safety Training, sponsored by Pine Center Sportsmen's Club, will meet from 7-9 p.m. each evening at Roosevelt Town Hall. Class dates for gun safety training are March 13, 15, 17, 20, 22 and 24. Museum closed

The Crow Wing County Historical Society will be closed March 11. They will be at the Heritage Festival from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Brainerd High School.

New exhibit

"Cookin' Up Some History" is the new exhibit on display at the Crow Wing County Historical Society. It is an exhibit of yesteryear's kitchen appliances and utensils. Monday-Friday 1-5 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Cost: $3 adults, children free.

First Aid

St. Joseph's Medical Center is sponsoring a first aid class from 6-10 p.m. Thursday. The course is certified by the American Safety and Health Institute and participants receive a completion card. "Coping with Grief"

Coping with Grief is a series of eight sessions being conducted at Pine River Family Clinic. Sessions are from 1-3 p.m. every other Monday, beginning at March 13.
