Sophomore boys defeat Tech
Landon Stanfield scored 31 points to help the Brainerd Warriors past St. Cloud Tech 77-70 in sophomore boys' basketball Monday.
Riley Cullinane added 11 points for Brainerd, which won nine of its last 12 games to finish the season 13-10.
Harms earns conference honor
Little Falls Flyers girls' basketball player Laura Harms was honored as the Central Lakes Conference performer of the week ending Feb. 28.
Harms, a senior, scored 39 points and grabbed 22 rebounds in two conference games last week.
Sailer to speak to boosters
Tony Sailer of the Brainerd Parks and Recreation department will be the speaker at the Brainerd Sports Boosters Club meeting, which begins noon Thursday at the Sharing Bread Soup Kitchen located behind the Triangle Store and Temple Baptist Church on Oak Street.
Wrestler Greg Strand, the Warrior Athlete of the Week, will be honored.
