ST. CLOUD (AP) -- A St. Cloud man was ordered to serve two months in jail for binding his girlfriend with duct tape and threatening to kill her.
Isaac Carpenter, 26, will begin his sentence after he is released from prison, where he is currently serving time for burglary. Carpenter was also sentenced to prison for 21 months for the assault and imprisonment of his girlfriend, but that was stayed and he will be on probation after the jail term ends.
Carpenter was convicted in August 2001 and was a fugitive until he was captured this year. He taped his girlfriend's hands, face and ankles after an argument.
