BAXTER -- Nor-son, Inc., in Baxter announces four employees recently received promotions.
Terry Hanson, partner at Nor-son, was promoted to vice president of construction. Hanson has been with the Nor-son Design/Build team for eight years in construction management. He has 20 years of design/build experience in a variety of construction and residential projects.
Kevin Stangel was promoted to field operations manager. Stangel has been with the company since June as a project manager. He has 20 years of construction experience primarily in commercial projects. In this new position, he will be responsible for recruiting, training and supervising all field personnel and operations. Nor-son currently employs 120 field employees.
Cory Hendricks was promoted to project manager. Hendricks has been with Nor-son for nine years as project foreman and has won several national awards on various log projects, including the Black Bear Lodge and Saloon. He is now managing new construction and additions to various residential projects, as well as the new Lime Greenery florist shop in Pequot Lakes.
Steven Veith was promoted to service and maintenance project manager. Veith has worked with Nor-son for 11 years, nine years as a carpenter for both commercial and residential projects. For the past two years he has worked as a technician in the service and maintenance division. He is currently taking classes to become a home inspector and will graduate in June.
CROSSLAKE -- Doug Odegard, Kurilla Real Estate, Crosslake, was named top producer for 1999.
A Volunteer in Service to America is expected to start in April to assist the Southeast Brainerd Residents Association for one year.
Home repair and increasing home ownership is a large focus. The SEBRA housing subcommittee will meet April 14. SEBRA will meet March 27 at the Brainerd Public Library.
