Pierz pulls out another victory

FOLEY - Michael Weber scored 24 points and pulled down 15 rebounds as the Pierz Pioneers defeated Foley 64-57 Saturday.

Tyler Monson added 20 points for the Pioneers, who improve to 17-6.

PELICAN RAPIDS - Jordan Riewer led Staples-Motley with 21 points, but the Cardinals could not outshoot class 2A's top-ranked Pelican Rapids losing 100-85 Saturday.

The 25-0 Vikings jumped out to a 22 point half-time lead. Tydan Stomusten and Eric Shulstad scored 32 and 33 points respectively.

Staples-Motley's Jason Johnson netted 19 points and Derek Wolhowe contributed 17.
