HUDSON, Wis. (AP) -- The father of a funeral home director killed along with an intern last month says he is praying for whoever shot the two.

"We're praying for them because they must be very sick," said Tom O'Connell. "Justice will take place, but we're praying for them."

O'Connell owns the O'Connell Family Funeral Home, where his son Daniel and University of Minnesota student James Ellison were working when they were shot and killed Feb. 5. Ellison was from Barron, Wis.

Police and family members have been seeking the public's help in solving the crime.

"It's hell. You know, if there was a motive, a reason or something, it would have a closure to it," O'Connell said. "We don't have a closure to anything here."

Hudson Police Chief Richard Trende said investigators are still tracking down leads and suspects. Investigators would like to talk to anyone who spoke to the victims that day.
