GRAND RAPIDS -- Linda Kay Turner, 50, Grand Rapids, formerly of Crosby, died Wednesday, March 1, 2000, at her home.
She was born Dec. 31, 1949, in Crosby to Benjamin and Ada (Simmonds) Davis. She married Phillip A. Turner on March 26, 1993, in Remer. She was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church, Grand Rapids, and the Evergreen Chapter of Eastern Star No. 204, Crosby. She was regional secretary with the Department of Natural Resources Office in Grand Rapids.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Steven Robinson, Dry Prong, Iowa, and Scott Robinson, St. Paul; a stepson, Jayme Turner, Chippewa Falls, Wis.; a stepdaughter, Jody Turner, Moorhead; her father, of Crosby; four grandchildren; a brother, Lee Davis, Park Rapids; and four sisters, Carolyn Schueller, Brainerd, Sandy Abear, Pequot Lakes, Leslie Selly, Crosby, and Georgia Davis, Paullina, Iowa.
Her mother died earlier.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Community Presbyterian Church of Grand Rapids with the Rev. Peter Nord and the Rev. Becky Sherwood officiating. Burial will be in Itasca Calvary Cemetery in Grand Rapids. Memorials are preferred to Community Presbyterian Church, Grand Rapids, or Itasca County Hospice Program.
Friends may call at Community Presbyterian Church of Grand Rapids from 5-8 p.m. Friday and an hour before services Saturday.
