SARTELL - Jed Magstadt scored 13 points to lead the Brainerd Warriors past the Sartell Sabres 54-53 in a Central Lakes Conference clash Friday.
"It was a very rugged game," said Warrior head coach Matt Urbanek. "It lacked rhythm and flow and it ended up being a rough game and we had to gut it out to get the win. We made plays when we had to."
Ben Gervais added 10 points for the Warriors, who improve to 9-7 in the conference.
"Anytime you get a road win in the conference, it is a big win," Urbanek added.
Jed Magstadt led BHS with 14 points.
