Repeat feat for Dolphin swim team
The 122-member Brainerd Family YMCA Dolphin swim team repeated as state champion Saturday in the YMCA state meet at the University of Minnesota Aquatics Center in Minneapolis. Brainerd has qualified 31 swimmers for the regional meet March 31-April 1 at the university.

I have a complaint about the city plows. They do a marvelous job on the streets and avenues but what about the alleys? I live out in north Brainerd and my alley wasn't plowed out. I'm the only one, plus another neighbor, who uses it.

The Open Forum letter written on Monday about the prohibition of marijuana made me wonder why marijuana was prohibited in the first place, so I did a little research and found that health risks had very little to do with it. In fact, the main reasons it was prohibited were because of racism and money.
