Gerald F. Winters

SANTA PAULA, Calif. -- Gerald Fredrick Winters, 62, Santa Paula, Calif., formerly of Brainerd, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, in Ventura, Calif.

He was born May 14, 1938, in Iowa to Lester and Katherine Winters. He lived on Gull Lake near Brainerd from 1955-1958. He graduated from Brainerd High School in 1958. He was the chief executive officer for First Wilshire Investment Management, where he worked for 15 years.

Survivors include his wife, Iris, Santa Paula; two sons, Gregory Winters, Fontana, Calif., and John Winters, Union City, Calif.; a daughter, Sandy Alvarado, Duluth; his mother; 11 grandchildren; and a sister, Ann Lanz, Nisswa.

Services were at First United Methodist Church in Santa Paula.

Arrangements were with Pierce Brothers Stetler Mortuary in Santa Paula.
