Three Golden Lakes Boxing Club members competed on a card Saturday at the Wadena National Guard Armory.
Dan Soukop of Brainerd (158 pounds) stopped Guy Schoon in the third round. Matt Pearson of Wadena (142) decisioned Brainerd's Kolyn Crawford. Ben Lastovich of Brainerd (147) scored a split decision against DeWayne Steward of Wadena.
In the main event Chris Holt of Detroit Lakes decisioned Tim Meyer of Rochester.
In other matches, Zach Walters of Fergus Falls decisioned Wadena heavyweight Josh Bahls.
Eli Vastad of Fergus Falls decisioned Cody McManigle of Wadena at 95 pounds.
Shane Milbrandt, Wadena 125-pounder, decisioned Ryan Olson of Detroit Lakes.
Drewe Williams of Rochester won a second-round RSC over Andy Donavan of Detroit Lakes.
Joe DeVorak of Fergus Falls scored a third-round RSC against Craig Weber of Wadena at 135.
Richard Kern, Rochester 142-pounder, won a decision over Blair Koenig of Detroit Lakes.
Shayne Wegsheid, 75 pounds of Wadena, won a decision over Ryan Buseth of Fergus Falls.
In Hinckley on Saturday two Golden Lakes boxers competed. Andy Wilcox (125) lost to Mike Robinson of Leech Lake and Ricky Aulie (119) defeated Adam Vanalstine of Duluth.
Also last Saturday, Joe Anderson, former 147-pound champion from Brainerd, won a Toughman contest in Colorado Springs, and earned $1,000.
The Region 4 Golden Gloves tournament, featuring boxers from Wadena, St. Cloud, Brainerd, Detroit Lakes, Willmar, Fergus Falls and Bemidji, is scheduled at Wadena on March 18.
