Donna L. Nelson
Donna L. Nelson, 71, Brainerd, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital of Minneapolis.
She was born Oct. 26, 1928, in Belle Prairie to Jacob and Edna Houle. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, St. Joan of Arc Guild, American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Alvin; two daughters, Diane Hummel, Ironton, and Phyllis Lindell, Fargo, N.D.; four sons, Curtis Nelson, Tucson, Ariz., Ronald Nelson, Brainerd, Steven Nelson, Brainerd, and Larry Nelson, Ham Lake; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack and Willard Houle, both of Little Falls; and a sister, DeEtta Gilson, Little Falls.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Catholic Church of Brainerd with Father Seamus Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Thursday with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.
