Verndale falls to Eagle Valley

VERNDALE -- The Verndale Pirates were defeated by the Eagle Valley Rebels 70-36 in non-conference boys' basketball Monday night.

Marie Kern led the Pirates with 12 points and six rebounds. Teammate Kayla White added 10 points.

The Pirates fall to 3-19 on the season and prepare for playoff action this Thursday.
