Paul L. Meyer, 64, Brainerd, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at Fairview University Medical Center of Minneapolis.
He was born Oct. 2, 1935, to Eppy and Ruby (Noakes) Meyer. He had been employed as a sheetmetal worker at Thelen Heating and Roofing. He was a member of the Eagles. He was also a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local No. 10.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; two sons, Kim Meyer, Brainerd, and Kurt Meyer, Colorado Springs, Colo.; three stepdaughters, Cindy Nieman, Minneapolis, Jodi Thielen, Brainerd, and Bonnie Brownie, Brainerd; seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; three brothers, Jack and Ralph Meyer, both of Brainerd, and Jim Meyer, Utah; a sister, Pearl Hellen, Brainerd; and his first wife, Arlene Rudbeck, Guthrie.
His parents and his second wife, Lorraine Meyer, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church of Brainerd with Pastor Juli Sutton-Deem officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home of Brainerd from 4-7 p.m. today and at the church an hour before services Wednesday.
