Musical humor and ventriloquism slated in Pequot

PEQUOT LAKES - Family-friendly musical humor and ventriloquism by Glen Everhart and James Wedgwood will be staged at 7:30 p.m. March 8 at the Pequot Lakes High School auditorium.

Tickets are $14 for adults, $12 for ages 60 and older and $10 for ages 18 and younger. Tickets are on sale in advance from Pequot Lakes Community Education at (218) 568-9200 and at the door.

Everhart provides a totally interactive musical experience. He is a one-man comedy musical variety act, combining his songs and stories with musicianship and audience participation. He has been performing professionally full-time since 1987. His performances have taken him to 25 states and two countries.

Wedgwood uses traditional comic ventriloquism along with props and skills to create a unique show. He makes virtually everything talk, from a variety of great characters to purses, brooms, bottles and audience members. Game shows, tap-dancing, singing (without moving his lips) and more are part of the fun.
