LITTLE FALLS - Russell Davis, administrator of Rural Development's Housing and Community Facilities Programs in Washington, D.C., will visit Little Falls for the 10 a.m. Thursday grand opening of Riverwood Pines Apartments. Davis will be joined by Steve Wenzel of Little Falls, state director of Rural Development in Minnesota and other officials.

Riverwood Pines is a 24-unit apartment complex that occupies the Our Lady of Angels Academy building off Riverwood Drive on Highway 371. The building has been vacant since 1974.

Resource guides available

"Operation ARMMS Addiction Resource Guide - Where to Go for Help," which is developed by members of Operation ARMMS, is now available for distribution.

Operation ARMMS (Addressing, Responding, Managing Meth and other Substances) is formerly the Crow Wing County Meth Coalition.

Trained community members are available to speak to an organization about the basics of meth, why people should be concerned and things you can do to help. If available, a person in recovery from meth addiction will join the presentation.
