PEQUOT LAKES - Mindy Howard drained 30 points as the second-seeded Pequot Lakes Patriots trounced the seventh-seeded Roseau Rams 76-59 in the East Subsection 8-2A quarterfinals Tuesday.

Emily Lueck added 13 for Pequot Lakes who will head to Bemidji High School Thursday to face Pine River-Backus in the East Subsection 8-2A semifinals.

Pioneer Gabrielle Boser contributed 20 points and 12 rebounds.
