Sellnow, Marohn, Andy Pickar win Section 8, Class 3A wrestling titles

ST. CLOUD -- Brainerd Warriors Vince Sellnow, Jesse Marohn and Andy Pickar won championships in the Section 8AAA individual wrestling tournament Saturday at St. Cloud Tech.

Sellnow won the 103-pound title, Marohn was champion at 130 and Pickar was first at 135.

Four Little Falls Flyers qualified for state, all as runners-up. Eric Lindeman was second at 119, Trevor Brady at 125, Matthew Boser at 130 and Brian Hagen at 135.

All seven advance to the Class 3A individual state tournament Thursday through Saturday at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
