SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- Brainerd High School graduate Chris Bjorklund scored a career-high 33 points but Cal Poly lost to Idaho 82-75 in Big West Conference men's basketball Saturday.
Bjorklund, whose previous high was 32 points as a sophomore, made 14 of 22 from the field and had seven rebounds.
Cal Poly, 9-16 overall and 3-11 in conference play, will wrap up its regular season when it travels to Boise State Thursday and Utah State Saturday.
Youth hockey jamborees in March
Brainerd Amateur Hockey Association has scheduled two jamborees.
The Ice Mite jamboree, for ages 3-7, is March 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Mite Jamboree is March 10, with the first game at 9 a.m. and the last at 7 p.m.
Teams participating include Brainerd, Little Falls, Walker, Pequot (Central Lakes), Long Prairie-Grey Eagle and Crosby-Ironton/Aitkin.
LINCOLN, Neb. -- Brainerd High School graduate Ally Graham was on the Augustana College 4x400-meter women's relay that set an indoor track and field school record at the Prairie Wolf meet Feb. 17.
The team had a time of 3:53.48, erasing the mark of 3:56.49.

tourney March 31
PIERZ -- The Pierz Washington/New York class trip will sponsor the third annual 3 on 3 basketball tournament Saturday, March 31, at Pierz Healy High School.
The tournament starts at 10 a.m. There are three age groups: 3rd-5th grades, 6th-8th grades, and 9th-11th grades. There also will be a girls' 3rd-8th grade division.
