CROSSLAKE -- A Crosslake couple lost their mobile home Saturday as a result of a fire.
The Crosslake Fire Department responded to the home owned by Howard and Pat Hauge at 7:25 p.m. Saturday. The home is located at Hidden Valley Road. No one was injured.
Assistant Fire Chief Keith Anderson said the mobile home was engulfed when they arrived. The home was a total loss with an estimated $75,000 to $80,000 in damage.
Anderson said the fire started somewhere around the water heater by the bathroom, where the most intense damage was.
Firefighters were on the scene more than three hours. Assisting the Crosslake Fire Department at the scene were Ideal Fire Department, Crosslake Police Department and North Ambulance.
