Pickar, Fleischhacker wrestle way to state

ST. CLOUD -- Brainerd's Andy Pickar won the 152-pound championship in the Section 8, Class 3A individual tournament Saturday to return to state for the fifth time.

Pickar, a senior, enters his final state meet with a career record of 142-25. This season he is 32-1.

Also making it to state for the Warriors is Dan Fleischhacker (27-8), who captured true second place at 112. It will be Fleischhacker's first trip to state.

The Little Falls Flyers will be represented at state by Adam Gosiak (32-4), who won the title at 160, and by Chris Roach (22-11), who was second at 130 pounds.
