Kenneth O. Dalquist

RANDALL -- Kenneth O. Dalquist, 67, Randall, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, in Virginia.

He was born Nov. 19, 1935, in Randall to Carl and Elvera (Hoffstedt) Dalquist. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in forestry. He married Viola Radimecky on April 29, 1961, in Cushing. They lived in Steamboat, Ore., until 1966. They moved to northeastern Minnesota where he worked for the U.S. Forestry. He retired in 1985 after 29 years of service in the U.S. Forestry. They moved to Randall where they have lived since 1985. He was a member of Grace Covenant Church in Little Falls. They wintered at the Lazy Palms Ranch in Edinburg, Texas.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Eric C. Dalquist, Thief River Falls, and Kurt K. Dalquist, North Branch; three grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Dalquist, Randall.

His parents; a daughter, Ruth M. Dalquist; and an infant brother, died earlier.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Grace Covenant Church in Little Falls with the Rev. Steve Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Randall Cemetery. Memorials are preferred.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls and from 9 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the church.
