LITTLE FALLS -- Wallace A. Sipe, 91, Little Falls, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2000, at Lutheran Care Center of Little Falls.
He was born May 25, 1908, in Burschville to Alfred and Louise (Strehler) Sipe. He married Agnes Jones on Sept. 30, 1937, in Rockford. They rented farms and farmed in Rockford, Foley, Oak Park and Princeton. They lived in Big Lake before settling in Little Falls in the late 1960s. He entered the Lutheran Care Center in 1981.
Survivors include three sons, Allen Osborne, Elk River, Dale Sipe, Bemidji, and Norman Sipe, Little Falls; a daughter, Phyllis Henze, Fort Ripley; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Irene Sewall.
His wife, two sons, David and Curtin Sipe, four brothers and eight sisters died earlier.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Lutheran Care Center Chapel of Little Falls with the Rev. Roland Jennings officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery near Santiago.
